ABOUT SWEETS O’ TREATS

We are an online artisan patisserie store in Surabaya. We creatively bake & innovate cakes/pastries in regular basis. We cater cakes/pastries for birthday, anniversary, engagement, wedding, and other special occasions. Uses fine & fresh ingredients only for all products. Established in 2013 in Tulungagung, East Java. We strive to make your online shopping experience as pleasing as possible. Not only from our product’s quality, but also from our services.

FOUNDER

Ivana Setiawan, the founder & the executive chef of Sweets O’ Treats. She was graduated from William Angliss – Melbourne, Australia for her Advanced Diploma of Business in Hospitality (2008), Certificate IV in Pastisserie (2010). And continued her study in Swinburne University for her Accounting Degree – Melbourne, Australia.

She worked for several cafes and restaurants from the 1st year she did her study in Australia. Experiencing every position she could get; from shop assistance to a chef position in her younger age. Those experience has benefit her to do her carrier from zero. She began baking cakes for her family, and sold cake in slices to friends & relatives. Soon enough she received some orders for birthday and engagement.

In 2013 she decided to move to Surabaya – East Java, Indonesia. She did giveaways, joined competition and some local events to introduce her brand “Sweets O’ Treats”. Ivana also started to supply cakes and pastries for local cafes, restaurants and grocery stores in Surabaya. Learning new things has always been her interest, she loves innovating new flavors and textures for different type of products. Her inspirations often come from her travel journey. She loves to travel & trying local pastries/cakes.

She mostly do research & development thru reading a lot of recipe books, attending short courses and seminars. Nowadays, she has her own pastry team and management-level staff to help her with the business. Meanwhile she focused more on the Wedding Cakes, and Sweets O’ Treats ‘Raw’ which supports local Indonesian products/farmers. Focusing in different type of Diets; vegan, gluten free, etc.

Some of her other activities would be lecturing pastry classes in University & often invited to be an entrepreneurship speakers. Her latest project (May 2019) was conducting a pastry training session for a resort in Nusa Dua, Bali.
